These Terms of Service govern your use of Last One Loses, a strategy game available on iOS and Android. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Last One Loses, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users of the app, including casual players, ranked participants, and anyone who interacts with any feature of the service.
2. Using the App
Last One Loses automatically creates an anonymous player identity so the app can save your progress, support friend features, enable matchmaking, and run gameplay functions. No personal account registration is required. You are responsible for all activity that occurs on your device through the app.
The app is free to use. There are no advertisements, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the app at any time.
3. Fair Play
We are committed to a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. You agree not to:
- Use automation, bots, scripts, or modified clients to play the game
- Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended behaviors for competitive advantage
- Tamper with the app, its code, its network communications, or its data
- Manipulate matchmaking, rankings, or challenge outcomes
- Spam friend requests, challenges, or any other communication feature
- Impersonate other players or misrepresent your identity
We reserve the right to take action against accounts that violate fair play, including suspending or terminating access.
4. User Conduct
While using Last One Loses, you agree to behave responsibly and respect other players. You must not use the app to harass, threaten, or abuse others, or to engage in any activity that is illegal, harmful, or disruptive to the service or its community.
Display names that are offensive, misleading, or inappropriate may be removed or changed without notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All content in Last One Loses, including but not limited to the game design, visual assets, logos, animations, sounds, code, and text, is the property of the app's creator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app or its content without prior written permission.
6. Availability and Uptime
We strive to keep Last One Loses available and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Online features, including matchmaking, friend challenges, daily puzzles, ranked play, and notifications, may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Network or infrastructure issues
- Platform service outages (Apple, Google, Firebase)
- Updates, patches, or feature changes
- Unforeseen technical problems
We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from service interruptions.
7. Content and Progress
Gameplay progress, rankings, streaks, challenge history, and friend activity may change as the game evolves. We may adjust features, game balance, scoring systems, or data availability to improve fairness, security, and the overall player experience. We do not guarantee that any specific content, feature, or progress will be permanently available.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Last One Loses at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these terms, engaged in abusive behavior, or posed a risk to the service or other users. You may also stop using the app at any time and delete your player data through the in-app Settings.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the creators and operators of Last One Loses shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of progress, service interruptions, or unauthorized access to your information.
Our total liability for any claims related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which is zero, as the app is free).
10. No Warranty
Last One Loses is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the app's fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, or freedom from errors. You use the app at your own risk.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in a manner consistent with the applicable jurisdiction.
